Walk: Dog Walk Tracker - Last updated October 22, 2026

Walk is made by Make Art Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Walk app handles and what it does not. The short version: Walk is built to keep your life on your phone. Your walks, routes, photos, and dog profiles are stored on your iPhone. We do not run accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not track you for advertising.

Information stored on your device

The following stays on your iPhone, under your control, and is never sent to us:

Deleting the app deletes this data from your device. If you use iCloud device backups, your backup is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions the app asks for, and why

Anonymous usage analytics

Walk uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to receive anonymous usage signals such as "a walk was completed" or "the subscription screen was viewed." These signals:

We use these counts only to understand which features get used and to fix problems. Apple may also provide us with anonymous, aggregated App Store attribution information (for example, which ad campaign led to a download) through Apple's AdServices framework. That information does not identify you to us.

Purchases and subscriptions

Walk+ subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active so it can unlock Walk+ features. Managing or cancelling a subscription happens in your App Store account settings.

What we do not do

Children

Walk is not directed at children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
